ECO-matic® Large
Commercial Systems are available in ultra-high output models such as
120, 240 and 400 g/h for large swimming pools in public, resort, hotels
and school applications.
Salt Water Chlorination is the ideal sanitisation method for commercial swimming pools. Automatic chlorine generation from an ECO-matic® Large Commercial system provides a convenient, safe and economical pool disinfection, meaning pool operators no longer have to purchase, handle and store dangerous pool chemicals.
Salt Water Chlorination is a process of sanitising water by using electrolysis to produce chlorine from a low level of salt (sodium chloride) added to the pool. The chlorine kills bacteria and algae in the water and oxidises the waste. The sodium and chlorine eventually reform and the salt to chlorine process continues over and over again. This method of sanitising provides clean water with low levels of salt that has a 'softening' effect. This gives the water a pleasant 'feel' and offers therapeutic benefits to bathers with its natural antiseptic properties.
features & Benefits
Effective Disinfection: A double disinfection action effectively kills bacteria and algae. The chlorinator cell has an intensive cell electrode shock action as well as a high chlorine residual in the piping immediately after the salt water chlorination cell, which results in crystal clear water.
High Water Quality: Red eyes or dry itchy skin and the chlorine smell that irritates swimmers are significantly reduced with the use of salt water chlorinators. The electrode cell destroys chloramines (dead chlorine) leaving the water in a pristine state. Mildly salted water is a natural antiseptic, which inhibits bacterial growth and is particularly pleasant for bathers.
Simple to Use: Fully automatic and simple to use with programmable timers and visual monitors showing chlorine output, conductivity and temperature.
Safe: Safety is ensured with complete electronic monitoring of flow and pressure, gas levels, temperature and low conductivity with protective shutdown. Also, the salt in the pool water is converted to chlorine, ending the need to buy, store or handle chlorine chemicals.
Economical: With low energy consumption, the running costs of a salt water chlorinator are much lower than dosing with chlorine chemicals. It reuses the salt over and over again and only needs the occasional salt top up due splash out, backwashing or draining. The lower running costs off set the higher initial capital cost in about 12-18 months.
Reduced Maintenance: An electronically controlled self cell cleaning system means no need for acid decaling of cell plates under normal conditions.
