Fountains & Water Features

Commercial fountains and water features come in many variations.  Jet fountains can shoot a column of water over 140m into the air, jumping jet laminar nozzles create amazing visual displays and can be timed to music, wall fountains and rain curtain fountains make wonderful indoor displays. 

Common to commercial fountains is an electric pump to create pressure to move the water through the fountain, a filtration system to remove particles from the water and in many cases, especially in recirculation systems, water treatment to clean the water.

As suggested above, water treatment is a good idea on most fountains, however, there are several types of fountains, such as rain curtain fountains, jumping jet laminar nozzles and water walls where water treatment is critical.  Additionally, fountain spray can contain legionella bacteria and has been linked to legionnaries' disease.  Davey's commercial filtration and water treatment products can treat the water to a safe standard.
